Ayacucho FC lost their top goal scorer, Mauricio Montes, in the first leg of the semifinals against Sporting Cristal.
The 38-year-old forward felt alone in the pressure they tried to create on Sporting Cristal's goal, in search of an equalizer at the Monumental Stadium.
Montes left the field on a stretcher and with evident signs of pain. Until the closing of this note, the severity of the injury that ended the attacker's participation in the match is still unknown.
