Alianza Lima achieved their second consecutive victory in the 2020 Torneo Apertura of Liga 1. The white and blue squad defeated Deportivo Llacuabamba in the 16th match of the tournament at the Estadio Olímpico de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.
Patricio Rubio opened the scoring in the 31st minute of the second half. Joazhiño Arroé enabled Oslimg Mora with a pass behind the defense of the mining team and made a low cross that was taken advantage of by the Chilean forward.
Alianza Lima's second goal came four minutes later. Carlos Ascues recovered a ball in the area of Deportivo Llacuabamba and scored a great goal. The midfielder beat Miguel Ramírez's goal with a brilliant right-footed shot.
The team led by Mario Salas, who accumulated 21 points and climbed to the tenth position in the standings of the Torneo Apertura, will play against Sport Boys on Wednesday in a postponed match from Matchday 15.
