Transfer market news
While the future of Liga 1 is being defined after the suspension caused by the actions of the Universitario de Deportes fans prior to the match against Academia Deportivo Cantolao, the transfer market continues to move.
Following the signing of Ray Sandoval, who was released from Sporting Cristal due to drunk driving during curfew, Cusco FC has brought back a national player to the local championship.
It is Willyan Mimbela, who returns to Peruvian football after a year. The national midfielder leaves Tractor Sazi FC from the Iran Pro League to join the Cusco-based institution.
Cusco FC will be the twelfth team for the 'Amenaza' Mimbela in his sports career. He previously played for Cantolao, América Cochahuayco, Universitario de Deportes, Internacional "B" (Brazil), Sport Huancayo, Sporting Cristal, C. D. Nacional (Portugal), Alianza Lima, Ayacucho FC, Unión Comercio, and Tractor Sazi FC (Iran).
