Yordy Reyna Reveals Receiving Offer from South American Team

Peruvian forward Yordy Reyna, who plays for Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the Major League Soccer (MLS) of the United States and Canada, has revealed that he received an offer from a South American team.

After ruling out the possibility of returning to European football, where he played for Red Bull Salzburg, Liefering, SV Grodig, and RB Leipzig, the 26-year-old national attacker shared that he received a proposal from South America.

"But I decided to stay because I feel very comfortable here in Canada. The people treat me very well and the coach wants to keep me," he stated in an interview with journalist Nick Negrini on Pulso Sports' YouTube channel.

Yordy Reyna has been with Vancouver Whitecaps FC since January 2017. Currently, the former Alianza Lima player has a contract with the Canadian team until the end of 2020.
