The South American Football Confederation released the list of the 10 stadiums that hosted the most matches in the history of the Copa Libertadores de América.
The iconic Defensores del Chaco, owned by the Paraguayan Football Association and the official home of the Paraguay national team, ranks second on the list with a total of 350 matches.
The sports venue, which has a capacity of 42,000 spectators, is frequently used by many modest clubs from our country to compete at the international level, and by those with greater popular support when they reach more decisive stages.
Erected in Sajonia, the Defensores del Chaco is only surpassed by another equally significant stadium on the continent, the Centenario Stadium in Montevideo (Uruguay).
