Uruguayan Felipe Rodríguez shares his fear in Israel
Felipe Rodríguez, runner-up with Alianza Lima in the 2019 season of the Liga 1, described the fear he experiences in Israel, where he arrived to join Hapoel Tel Aviv in the top division.
Felchuco, as the Uruguayan striker is known, narrated in an interview with the Show del Gol program on Argentine radio Rivadavia that in the first days of his arrival in Israel, "he was very scared of the bombings".
"In Israel, I had just signed one of the best contracts of my career and I couldn't sleep at night because of the bomb alarms," detailed the Uruguayan footballer, who lives with his pregnant wife and two children.
Regarding the coronavirus, Felipe Rodríguez stated that the situation is currently "quite calm," and that "the initial fear of living in quarantine in another country has passed."
"There are few people on the streets, everyone wears gloves. The measures taken by the government are nationwide," concluded Rodríguez, who scored eight goals in the 33 matches he played for Alianza Lima (26 as a starter).
