The ADFP announced the creation of a Crisis Committee to address emergencies during the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus. This committee will propose measures to the clubs of the Liga 1, Liga 2, and the FPF, and will be composed of 7 members.
"The Board of Directors of the Professional Football Sports Association and the Professional Football Sports Association - Second Division, respectively, have decided to form, in order to safeguard the interests of our associates, a Crisis Committee to address the health, labor, and economic problems affecting professional football clubs, and all their members, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic facing the world and, therefore, our country," they said. This committee will meet permanently, virtually, and will exist until professional football matches resume.

ADFP also expressed solidarity with the families affected by the new coronavirus. "The First and Second Division Professional Football Associations express our heartfelt condolences to all those families who have lost a family member due to COVID-19; likewise, we stand in solidarity with all our compatriots who are facing the ravages of this pandemic," they said.
