Alliance Lima suffered a tough blow in Villa El Salvador, losing 2-1 to Deportivo Municipal and greatly complicating their chances of qualifying for the Copa Sudamericana. The team from Deportivo Municipal already secured a spot and now there is only space for one more team. This is what Leao Butron said:

"I feel powerless. Like in many matches, we had the opportunity to take the lead in the score and ended up losing the game, like in many games. There is anger. It happened to us many times," said the goalkeeper of Alliance Lima to CMD.

He added: "We have not achieved what we wanted, plain and simple. Everyone knows what they gave, what they didn't give, and what they could have given, that depends on each player. Alliance Lima no longer has room for error and depends on other results to try to finish the year on a high note. They will face Sporting Cristal on Thursday and bid farewell against Cesar Vallejo on the weekend.
