This evening Alianza Lima and Deportivo Municipal face off in round 5 of the Liga 1 Movistar and the first controversial play arrived in the early minutes of the match.
In the 10th minute, in a counterattack by the 'edil' team, Mario Velarde breaks free and receives the ball in the small area of the 'íntimos'. However, Leao Butrón comes out to "narrow the angle" and slides with his legs, causing the player to fall after making the pass.
The action was not sanctioned by the referee Luis Garay; however, for many it was a clear penalty, as the ball was no longer in play and the movement could be classified as a dangerous play.
So far, Alianza Lima is tied 0-0 against Deportivo Municipal at the Alejandro Villanueva stadium.
