Another one leaves. Sporting Cristal officially announced the departure of Alfonso García Miró from the general management, a situation that had been hinted at in recent days due to recent events at the executive level that have occurred in the institution.
"Mr. Alfonso García Miró leaves his position as General Manager. Since February 2016, he has provided all his disposition and professionalism in the pursuit of objectives in favor of our entity," says part of the club's statement.
Last Wednesday night, there was a board meeting at the club, which was also attended by General Director Juan José Luque. García Miró was not present, and the main topic discussed was the departure of Manuel Barreto as coach.
Sporting Cristal has not specified in its statement whether Alfonso García Miró will take on other roles within the institution or if his departure is final. Before taking on the general management in 2019, he was in charge of the sports management.
The time of changes continues in the Rimense team and there will be many new names that will join the institution.
