About Carlos Preciado's Discrimination Case
Despite the indignation of his teammates and the board of directors of Alianza Lima, Carlos Preciado chose to leave the discrimination case he suffered in the last classic against Universitario de Deportes there. He will not take any legal action.
This was confirmed by the president of the Association, Francesco Manassero, who went to Alianza Lima's training this morning. "Among other things, we came to talk to Carlos Preciado in case he wanted to file a complaint, but he told us no. He is calm. It has not affected him," he said.
The Association showed its support to Carlos Preciado in this situation. Likewise, it reiterated that its organization will remain against any type of act of discrimination or racism. "We will always speak out when these cases occur," he pointed out.
Although Carlos Preciado will not take any action, the club did. The sports manager Gustavo Zevallos filed a complaint against Universitario de Deportes last Monday. "We requested an exemplary punishment," he said.
The Association visited Alianza Lima this Wednesday.
