Binational: Juliaca will be the highest city in the Copa Libertadores 2020.

A ranking places Juliaca, where Binacional will host its matches in the Copa Libertadores, as the town with the highest elevation above sea level in the entire tournament.

The Mighty of Heights

With 3,824 meters above sea level (masl), Juliaca, where Deportivo Binacional is based, is the highest city in the entire Copa Libertadores 2020.

The city located in the south of Peru surpassed Oruro, where San José from Bolivia plays at home, with 3,735 masl. The third place went to La Paz, where Bolivar resides, with 3,577 masl.

In the continental tournament, Binacional, the current national champion, will face River Plate from Argentina, Sao Paulo from Brazil, and Liga de Quito from Ecuador in Group D.
