Felipe Rodríguez was left out of the Alianza Lima squad to face Binacional in the first leg of the Liga 1 Movistar final. The Uruguayan midfielder admitted that the altitude of Juliaca affected him.
"It affected me a lot during the night, because I felt really bad. I slept for a few hours, because I had nausea, the urge to vomit, tossing and turning, but that's what happens. I let the doctors know, took a pill to feel better so I could rest a little," he told Gol Perú.
Despite having experience playing at high altitudes after playing for Bolívar in La Paz, 'Felucho' said, "One thing is living at altitude where the body adapts, and another thing is being in a city for 24 hours, playing and leaving, that makes you suffer a lot," he added.
