Although he became a new player for FC Emmen on October 4th, Miguel Araujo could only make his debut with the Dutch team this morning in a friendly match against VfL Osnabrück from the second division of Germany.
The former Alianza Lima defender had his first minutes with FC Emmen from the start of the match, coach Dick Lukkien gave Araujo the trust to be part of the starting team.
The rest of the starting lineup alongside the 25-year-old Peruvian were Van der Lei, Bijl, Heylen, Veendorp, Burnet, Tarashaj, Hiariej, De Vos, Kolar & Arias. The other Peruvian player from the club, Sergio Peña, was not present due to his call-up with the Peruvian National Team.
Miguel Araujo played in the 2019 Copa America with the Peruvian National Team; however, due to his lack of playing time, he has not been called up by Ricardo Gareca for the friendly match against Colombia in Miami, United States.
