The choice of Lima Monumental as the venue for the River vs. Flamengo Copa Libertadores final

The sports manager of Universitario, Jean Ferrari, explained the reasons for choosing Lima Monumental as the venue for the River vs. Flamengo Copa Libertadores final (Saturday 23, 17.00).

"Monumental was chosen purely for its capacity. The seating capacity of this stadium (80,000 spectators) is rarely seen in other South American countries," he said.

The leader also stated: "It has come as a surprise to all of us. We have already started making improvements in lighting, dressing rooms, bathrooms, seats, and signage, among other aspects."

The leader further confirmed that 45,000 tickets for the final, which Conmebol has already sold, can be guaranteed. It is expected that both teams will receive additional tickets for sale.
