He narrowly escaped. Joffre Escobar sent a long shot, after the deep pass from Jairo Concha, to score the equalizer seconds before the end of the match between Sporting Cristal vs. San Martín, who face each other at the Alberto Gallardo Stadium, for the 13th round of the Clausura Tournament.
In the 92nd minute of the match, Jairo Concha overcame the 'celeste' defense to send a long pass to Escobar, who evaded a couple of Sporting Cristal defenders to shoot straight into the goal of Patricio Álvarez and score the 1-1.
