The time passes, but the legacy remains
Last Sunday, at the Alberto Gallardo stadium, the party was consummated thanks to a goal from a historic last name in the Celestial institution, Palacios. Brandon, son of the popular 'Chorri', was able to shake off the feeling of guilt (minutes before he had missed a goal) and scored the last goal in Sporting Cristal's 4-0 victory over Pirata FC.
The midfielder, as his father used to do in the 90s, celebrated with the fans and revealed to EL BOCÓN his emotions of scoring with the beloved blue and white jerseys.
The key was to stay calm in order to solve each play and find the spaces to score goals. We made good decisions and it showed in the final result.
In the team, we are aware that all matches will be complicated in this stage of the tournament. We will give our all during the games to win the Clausura.
We have gotten used to the coach's playing style. However, we need to work on resolving some deficiencies that arise during each match.
I feel that Cristal will finish this season with a lot of strength. Unity makes the team strong.
I felt a lot of frustration for missing that goal because I thought it was going to be my only chance to score, but everyone saw that football gives you second chances.
What Jorge did strengthens me a lot, not only me but all my teammates. We are all a team and we are willing to move forward together.
Goals are love, and scoring them with the jersey you love is the best. For me, scoring a goal with Sporting Cristal is an orgasm.
I'm going to say the same, I'll keep giving my best for the club and I'll see what opportunities arise at the end of the year. I won't reveal anything in advance, I'll keep fighting to fulfill my dreams with Sporting Cristal.
