The official logo of the Copa America 2020, organized by Argentina and Colombia, has been announced on social media. The Peruvian National Team will participate in this highly anticipated competition.
"The colors of the host countries, Argentina and Colombia, together with references to the unity of the continent and its football fans, the field and the sun, are the protagonists of the image of the CONMEBOL Copa America 2020," was announced on social media.

Last Tuesday, a meeting was held at the Ezeiza venue to begin planning the tournament. It was determined that the draw for the Copa America 2020 will take place in Cartagena, Colombia, on December 3rd.
It was also confirmed that the Argentine National Team will play the opening match on June 12, 2020, as the host team. The stadium where the first match of the tournament will be played is yet to be defined.
The participating countries will remain the same; ten (the eight from South America, plus Qatar and Australia as guests), divided into two groups: the North Zone with Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, and a guest team; and the South Zone with Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, and the other guest team.
There will be a total of 38 matches, compared to the previous 26. The groups will be played with a round-robin format, and the top four teams will advance to the quarterfinals. Then the semifinals, and finally the final, which will be held in Colombia.
