Difficult times are coming again for Paolo Guerrero, who could be away from the field for several months this time due to off-field conduct. If the maximum sanction is confirmed, the 'Predator' would miss the rest of the Brasileirao: he would be suspended for up to 18 matches after the incidents that occurred two weeks ago against Flamengo.

The 'Predator', along with right-back Bruno, coach Odair Hellmann, and substitute Roberto Melo, were reported to the Superior Sports Court (STJD) for what happened on September 25th at Maracanã, for the 21st round of the Brazilian tournament. Their fate will be decided next Friday.

What is Guerrero accused of?

The Peruvian striker has the most complicated situation out of all the accused, as he is involved in two violations of the Brazilian Code of Sports Justice (CBJD):

Art. 243-F (twice): insulting someone's honor. Penalty: a fine of 100 thousand reais and a suspension of one to six matches.

Art. 258-A: mocking the audience during the match, test, or equivalent. Penalty: a suspension of two to six matches.

Bloody and sent off

In that match, which ended with 'Mengao' winning 3-1, Guerrero went to contest an aerial ball with Rodrigo Caio, but the 'Predator' ended up worse off as he suffered a cut above his right eyebrow.

Immediately, the Peruvian forward stood up to complain about the action that he considered a foul by the center-back, but referee Luiz Flávio de Oliveira did not see it that way, which unleashed the anger of the Peruvian forward.

What did he say to the referee?

After the collision, the portal 'Globo Esporte' detailed part of the match report, disclosed on the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF)'s website, revealing the insults in English by Paolo Guerrero.

"Expelled for offending the fourth official, Grazianni Maciel Rocha, with his middle finger and saying the following words: 'Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you.' Afterwards, he comes towards me, hitting the air, kicking the ground, and uttering the following words: 'Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you,' needing his teammates to hold him back to leave the field of play," says the text regarding Guerrero.
