Alejandro Hohberg was called up to the Peruvian National Team as an emergency replacement for Yoshimar Yotun. The midfielder from Universitario de Deportes expressed his happiness for the call-up but not his coach. Ángel Comizzo made his surprise and annoyance clear.
"It's very striking for me to be called up at 8 in the morning, it seemed strange and very surprising. It was a surprise but well...," said the slightly annoyed coach in a press conference after the match against Sport Boys.
Ángel Comizzo doesn't know if the match against Sporting Cristal will be suspended, the coach leaves that in the hands of the directors. "The team will surely be weakened, but those who play, will do their best. The team is prepared to fight against everyone," he affirmed.
The coach of Universitario de Deportes analyzed the draw against Sport Boys and said that the first half was contested but the second half belonged to the cremas: "The team tried to win by all means and couldn't. It's a point that allows us to stay ahead, when you can't win you mustn't lose."
Ángel Comizzo clarified that Pablo Lavandeira still has to wait to return to the field. "He's not ready yet, he's missing a lot in terms of fitness to reintegrate into a team that has a lot of dynamics," he concluded.
