Marvel Studios has Avengers: Endgame as the highest-grossing film of all time. Joker is far from this record, but that doesn't undermine its quality. The film directed by Todd Phillips and starring Joaquin Phoenix earned the praise of Josh Brolin (Thanos).
For the Avengers: Endgame actor, what Joker did was "simply to lift the rug and look underneath," referring to the problems of the world today.
"To appreciate Joker, I think you have to have gone through something traumatic in your life (and I think most of us have) or understand somewhere in your psyche what true compassion is (which generally comes from having gone through something traumatic, unfortunately)," Brolin's post reads.
"An example of dangerous compassion would be to make a film about the fragility of the human psyche and make it so raw, so brutal that when you leave the cinema you not only want to hurt anyone, but desperately want an answer and a solution to the violence and mental health that has gotten out of control around us," he added.

Joker is a film produced by Warner Bros. and DC Comics. The cast is made up of Joaquin Phoenix, Zazie Beetz, Robert De Niro, Marc Maron, among others. The premiere was on October 3 in Peru.
'Joker' focuses on Batman's iconic arch-nemesis and is an original and independent story that has not been seen before on the big screen. The exploration of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a man ignored by society, is not only the study of a rough character, but also a broader warning story.
