Alianza Lima has been expressing their dissatisfaction with the performance of referees during their recent matches through various means. However, after Joel Alarcón's performance in the 1-0 defeat against Universitario de Deportes, the blanquiazul team believed it was convenient to make a complaint to the National Referee Commission (CONAR) once and for all.
Alianza Lima executive César Torres confirmed that they will file a complaint with CONAR for the way referees have been behaving in their last games. He also considered that they have been severely affected by them and described Joel Alarcón's actions in the classic match as 'scandalous'.
"Today we will file a formal complaint to CONAR because we don't find fair the way they are treating Alianza Lima. Game by game, referees have been harming us and there are the images that don't lie. What happened in the classic match was outrageous, I only ask for fair refereeing," said Torres in Ovation.
