Former player and champion with Universitario de Deportes, spoke about the classic against Alianza Lima that will take place on Sunday, September 29th at the Monumental Stadium.
"The best thing is to play with both sets of fans, that's very personal. Everyone likes to play with both sets of fans. I had the opportunity to debut in a classic and despite playing away, I think both sets of fans in that magnitude of a match, it looks very beautiful due to the scenario and for the players themselves," he said in an interview with RPP.

Antonio Gonzales also referred to the return of Angel Comizzo to Universitario de Deportes: "He has played many classics in his country, we always talked and had previous conversations before these types of matches. He really lives it intensely, but he tries to manage it within the group to provide tranquility," he added.

Antonio Gonzales made his debut with the Universitario de Deportes jersey in 2006, a year in which four classics were still played per year, because the Apertura and Clausura tournaments were played home and away.
