"Juan Aurich is in the process of sale, we are looking for shareholders who will enter the club. Right now I have financing from a Mexican-American businessman, there are surely other interested parties, we continue the search," said Alva to Radio Ovación.
He stated that they are following the footsteps of Sporting Cristal, not only with the shares, but also with the club's brand. "Just like Sporting Cristal has sold its brand, we also sell a name, a brand that has prestige," he added in the phone call.
Juan Aurich is currently in first place in the Liga 2 and is favored to be promoted to the First Division. However, Alva stated that this is 'relative', because "the most important thing is to maintain the level and our game. The players and coaching staff are focused on winning everything that comes."
