Humberto Leguía and his team have already taken the reins of Universitario de Deportes.

The new administration of Universitario de Deportes, led by Humberto Leguía, has taken charge of the club and is already operating from the offices of the Monumental stadium. "We have been waiting since July for the administration to be handed over to us and today we have peacefully taken over everything," said Leguía on Movistar Deportes.

"We have waited for two months but unfortunately it took a long time and I had to take the position to start working. We reached an agreement with Carlos Moreno (outgoing administrator) but they took too long and we didn't have the information. From now on, we promise that everything will be done calmly and dedicated to the interests of 'U'," he added.

Jean Ferrari, the club's manager, said that a schedule had been established but it was not met. "We were surprised that we were not allowed to enter the stadium. That's what disrupted this tranquility and peaceful transition. Today, finally, we are in our headquarters and from today onwards, we will have direct communication with the first team and the youth divisions," he said.

Prior to the entry of the representatives of Solución y Desarrollo, violent incidents were reported at the Lolo Fernández headquarters. Club employees stated that locks were broken and the club's employees were intimidated. It was also reported that members of the fan group entered Campo Mar.

The administration of Humberto Leguía denied any involvement in these incidents. "I am not aware of anything, we are at the Monumental, any situation that is beyond the reach of our administration," said Jean Ferrari.

Carlos Moreno spoke on RPP and stated that the corresponding complaints will be filed. "There was already one for crime prevention and others are being made: aggravated usurpation, kidnapping (because they don't let the workers leave and threaten to fire those who want to leave), and other crimes," said the leader.
