Will only the signature be missing? Roberto Mosquera would have 95% of the negotiations ready to sign with Binacional, or at least that's what Andy Polar mentioned after the match at the Monumental. This data puzzled the coach, who joked about it in an interview.
"I heard Andy say that, so I'm calling him to ask how those negotiations with the club are going, maybe he knows more than me at this point," he mentioned to Radio Ovación with a laugh. According to Mosquera himself, there are advanced conversations, but there are still details to be worked out.
"There is willingness and good faith on both sides to reach a good understanding, however it is totally false that I have already agreed with Binacional. We are defining some issues and if things work out, great, otherwise, we will continue as good friends," he added.
Roberto Mosquera decided to resign from Royal Pari, after a series of poor results with the highland club. He spent all of 2018 and part of 2019 in this team, even leading them to their first international qualification by securing a spot in the 2019 Copa Sudamericana. His departure was associated with the rumor that he could manage the Bolivian national team, although that did not happen.
Meanwhile, Binacional had only drawn matches since the start of the Clausura Tournament, until the match against Universitario, where they lost 2-0. The team is currently being temporarily led by Javier Uturunco, after the departure of Javier Arce, who in turn took charge of Real Garcilaso.
