The Copa Peru, far from being a platform to see the new values in national football, has been characterized by constant scandals in its various editions. It seems that without these kinds of extraneous events, the amateur tournament would have no reason to exist. Why do we say this? And it is in the last game between Dorado (San Martin) vs. Deportivo Llacuabamba (La Libertad) ended in a huge brawl and the National Police of Peru intervened to stop this fight.

According to the police report from the San Jose de Sisa police station, the incidents began when the match was in injury time. The players from Dorado and Deportivo Llacuabamba started fighting on the field. The 20 members of the National Police of Peru assigned to this match of the first round of the Copa Peru national phase entered the field to calm the waters, but the remedy was worse than the disease.

The duel between the two teams took place normally. Carlos Reyes scored 1-0 for Dorado, while Javier Trauco scored the final 1-1 for Deportivo Llacuabamba at the Municipal Eladio Tapullima stadium.

In the document, it is reported that the players from Deportivo Llacuabamba started fighting with the law enforcement officers and intervened Alvaro Franco Olaya Rosales (player of Deportivo Llacuabamba) and Roberto Carlos Tristán Jorges (coach of the team from La Libertad). Furthermore, the mentioned individuals suffered head injuries.

In the next hours, the authorities will define the legal situation of these two individuals, since the 48 hours of their arrest have been fulfilled as required by Law. In the next round of the Copa Peru national phase, Deportivo Llacuabamba will face Jose Galvez, while Dorado will rival Deportivo Manaos.
