Olascuaga arrived with the pressure of scoring to equalize the score. The Universitario forward stood in front of the ball, took a run and sent the ball over the goal, far from Gómez's goal.
Coopsol eliminated Universitario in a penalty shootout (4-3), after drawing 1-1 in regular time. The second division team will face Atlético Grau in the semifinals.
