The Brazilian Volleyball Team needed one hour and 15 minutes to win the match against Peru with a score of 3 sets to 0. The partial scores were 5-19, 25-18, and 25-15. The bicolor team couldn't count on Maguilaura Frías due to injury.
Meanwhile, Argentina lost to Colombia in one of the semifinals with a score of 3-0, with partial scores of 25-23, 25-21, and 25-19, in 1 hour and 20 minutes of play.
Peru and Argentina will play at 3:00 p.m. at the Gran Qhapac Ñan Coliseum. Colombia and Brazil will play for the title of the South American Volleyball Championship. The match is at 6:00 p.m.
By finishing among the top four, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, and Brazil qualified for the pre-Olympics tournament for Tokyo 2020. The Brazilian team has already secured a spot in the Olympic Games, which allows the team finishing in fifth place to have the opportunity to fight for a spot in the Olympics.
