Dr. Strange has a power whose main challenge is patience. In Avengers: Infinity War, the prequel to Avengers: Endgame, the superhero portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch "visualizes" 14 million futures to know in which one the Avengers come out victorious. Obviously, in real life, that is impossible; however, there is some logic in the fictional world of Marvel.
The directors of Avengers: Endgame, Joe and Anthony Russo, revealed how it was possible for Dr. Strange - aided by the Time Stone - to see so many futures in record time. It should be noted that this review required Dr. Strange to experience in so many alternative realities the times that Thanos managed to eliminate half of the life in the universe, except for one time.
The creators of Avengers: Endgame specify that Dr. Strange was in that state for hundreds of thousands of years, trying to destroy Thanos and dying as many times as necessary to identify the right path.
Literally, Dr. Strange is the superhero who has died the most times in the MCU trying to find a solution to an extremely powerful enemy. In Avengers: Endgame, fortunately, we see that unique option among so many millions of possibilities in which the Avengers manage to rescue the world.
