Changes in sight

Despite the defeat against César Vallejo, Alianza Lima is taking it calmly. Pablo Bengoechea will make some corrections, especially in defense, in order to overcome Cantolao.

The coach felt that his team was surpassed by the flanks, so on Saturday he will play Aldair Salazar on the right and Dylan Caro on the left.

Although Salazar can also play as a center-back, Bengoechea believes that he can be more useful on the right side, as he has the speed for projection and defensive coverage, and can also contribute in aerial play.

Aldair Salazar, who has not played since June of this year, will have to make his mark again to earn the trust of the Uruguayan coach.

Meanwhile, Caro will play his second game since Pablo Bengoechea returned to the team.

Given the poor performance of Anthony Rosel, the lack of playing rhythm of Francisco Duclós, and the injury of José Guidino, Caro emerges as the best option to occupy the left back position against 'chalacos'.

Caro could provide greater defensive coverage on the flank and be a constant support for the center-backs, as he would not venture much forward.

With precise passing, the lefty could also be an option when playing long balls for the attackers.

More changes

But the entries of Dylan Caro and Aldair Salazar will not be the only novelties that the victorian team will present against Cantolao, as in the midfield the Mexican coach will rely on Wilder Cartagena to replace the suspended Rinaldo Cruzado.

Felipe Rodríguez will continue as a left winger and José Manzaneda will do so on the right, with Joazinho Arroé as the playmaker. As for the forward, it will be up to the coach to decide whether Adrián Balboa or Federico Rodríguez starts.
