When Pedro Troglio, former coach of Universitario and current DT of Olimpia, was preparing to lead the first classic in Honduras, a group of misfits attacked the bus carrying the Motagua team to the National Stadium.
But that was not all that former coach of Universitario de Deportes had to endure. In fact, the attack continued onto the field of the sports venue. A pitched battle broke out. Finally, there were three dead and several injured footballers.
Pay attention to one detail. Pedro Troglio, former coach of Universitario, was in the stadium, preparing his team to win the first classic in Honduras.
In this context, the former coach of Universitario used his social networks to speak out and send a message to Honduran football, after his time in Argentina.
"A pity everything that happened before the classic. I hope the players of Motagua are fine. And my condolences to the families of the victims. Let's think of a peaceful football, please," wrote the former coach of Universitario, who now coaches Olimpia.
For now, the former coach of Universitario will have to wait for the rescheduling of the match between Olimpia vs. Motagua in the Honduran league. Pedro Troglio is not having an easy time.
