Universitario de Deportes fans celebrate the club's 95th anniversary

Universitario de Deportes fans celebrated the club's 95th anniversary by holding a rally at Plaza San Martín and then continued the festivities outside the Lolo Fernández stadium. However, they left a trash heap in the surroundings of the sports venue.

The cleaning staff arrived early in the morning to collect all the waste. There are parks and some schools near the stadium, which caused discomfort among the neighbors in the area.

The Lolo Fernández stadium is located in the district of Breña. It was inaugurated on July 20, 1952. Universitario de Deportes played their home matches in this venue until 1992, then they would play at the Estadio Nacional and finally, since 2000, at the Estadio Monumental.
