Sofía Mulánovich, the first Peruvian and South American to win the world title

Sofía Mulánovich was the first Peruvian and also the first South American to achieve the world title in surfing, thus becoming the precursor of Peru's flagship sport.

In relation to this event, Sofía visited the facilities of the High Performance Center in Punta Rocas beach, from there she declared feeling honored to be in an iconic place and recalled that the first world champion, Felipe Pomar, came from that beach.

On the other hand, Sofía expressed her happiness with the infrastructure of the place. The facility, which is over 33,000 square meters, will be completed by the end of the year and will have a swimming pool for water practices, a specialized gym with trampolines and trapezes for acrobatics training, among other elements.
