Miguel Trauco became a player of Saint-Étienne in France. The left back of the Peruvian National Team signed for three seasons and will wear the number 13 jersey. Our compatriot went through various clubs before making the leap to European football.
Between the ages of 15 and 17, Miguel Trauco played for the clubs Virgen de Chapi in Lima, Coronel Bolognesi in Tacna, and Unión Tarapoto. Born in Tarapoto, he later joined Unión Comercio and was promoted to the first division in 2010.
His good performances led Universitario de Deportes to sign him in 2016 and then the Peruvian National Team became the prize for his talent. His debut came on August 7, 2014, in a friendly match against the Panama national team.
In 2017, he signed for Flamengo in Brazil, where he played alongside Paolo Guerrero. Miguel Trauco became a World Cup player by qualifying and playing in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
