The Peruvian surf team continues its participation in Punta Rocas. In the second Heat of the finals, Tamil Martino won the silver medal in Stand Up Paddle Surf falling to Colombian Giorgio Gomez in the final in the Lima 2019 Pan American Games.

With two waves of 8.00 and 6.70, he needed around 9.33 more in the total to surpass the score made by the Pan American champion, Giorgio Gomez, who scored 9.33 and 8.00 in his best waves, which was enough to win the gold in this surfing event.
With this silver medal, Peru adds five of this metal, four gold and ten bronze, with several more medals to come.
