Miguel Trauco said goodbye to his Flamengo teammates in the Maracaná locker room, after the 2-0 victory (4-2 on penalties) over Emelec from Ecuador in the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores. The Red and Black have already given the green light for the agreement of the Peruvian National Team player with Saint-Étienne from France.
The newspaper GloboEsporte reported that the Peruvian did not train today (Thursday) with the team that will "pay around 600,000 euros" for Miguel Trauco, whose contract was terminated with Flamengo, which linked him to the club until December.

"At the end of the game, while most of the team celebrated with the crowd, Miguel Trauco was talking on the edge of the field with Bruno Spindel, executive director of football. They hugged and the Peruvian defender watched the Red and Black party from a distance in the stadium," said Globo Esporte.
The Brazilian media reported that the player's representatives, who was a starter for the Peruvian National Team in the Copa America, are in France resolving the final details, and with that, Miguel Trauco will no longer play for Flamengo. His last game was on Sunday, in a 3-2 victory over Botafogo at Maracaná.
Miguel Trauco had a contract until the end of December, but the board expressed no intention of renewing it. In two and a half years at the club, the Peruvian played 79 games, scored four goals, and was a two-time Carioca champion in 2017 and 2019.
