The prestigious Brazilian media reports that Trauco said goodbye to the entire Flamengo squad after the match against Emelec. The full-back's words were given in the Maracaná dressing room.

"Flamengo has already given the positive signal for his departure, and the defender will not even train with the team this Thursday," the sports newspaper said in one of its pages.

French media such as L'Équipe have also highlighted the offer from Saint-Étienne, a club that would offer around 1 million euros for the pass of the former Universitario de Deportes player and with a contract of three years.

Accepting the proposal would be the most appropriate for 'Mengao', since Trauco's contract only lasts until the end of 2019 and by that date he could leave as a free player, that is, without leaving any money to the club. In addition, the arrival of Filipe Luis from Atlético Madrid would take prominence away from the left-back.

In two and a half years at the Brazilian club, Miguel Trauco played 79 games, scored four goals and was twice champion of Rio, in 2017 and 2019.
