The Peruvian athlete spoke with América Televisión prior to his participation in the Gran Parada Militar 2019 and took the opportunity to tell details of what his objective will be in Tokyo 2020.

"First of all, I want to thank the people who cheered me on throughout the Saturday race. Now we are in recovery, in a week I will return to training to pursue other goals, including Tokyo 2020," said Pacheco.
