Adrian Balboa, Uruguayan forward and new reinforcement of Alianza Lima, was presented at the club. The attacker had his first words as a blanquiazul player:

"It is an honor for me to come to Peru and play for this club. I told my agent to close the deal because I knew it was a serious club, a great club in Peruvian football. I didn't hesitate," he said.

"All I want is for Alianza to be champions. I can assure you that I won't give up on any ball, I want to give my best. I am happy at Alianza, it is a very important step in my career and I want to value it a lot. I know that Peruvian football is complicated because of its geography," Adrián Balboa added.

Adrián Balboa arrives to replace Mauricio Affonso, who after a good first part of the year, went to play in South Africa. "I consider that I don't have the same characteristics as Mauricio because he is more of a player in the box, while I am more of a player who moves around the entire attacking front and looks for spaces and defenders' backs," he said.

Adrián Balboa arrives to be a starter at Alianza Lima. The other forwards that remain as options in the team are Gonzalo Sánchez, Adrián Ugarriza, and Kevin Quevedo, who has not yet decided his future.
