We have a stadium! Sporting Cristal announced the chosen venue for the closing of the match against Zulia FC in the round of 16 of the Copa Sudamericana. The Alejandro Villanueva stadium will once again host the 'celestes' in their quest to qualify for the next round.
Sporting Cristal will seek to secure a spot in the quarterfinals against the Venezuelan team, which eliminated Palestino in the preliminary round. The first match will take place in Venezuela, at the José Encarnación Romero stadium, next Tuesday, July 23 at 3 p.m. (Peruvian time).
"We are ready for the round of 16! On Tuesday, July 30 at 5:15 p.m. we will face Zulia FC at the Alejandro Villanueva stadium for the second leg of the Copa Sudamericana," the club tweeted.

Sporting Cristal will make their debut in the Clausura Tournament this weekend against Sport Huancayo at the Alberto Gallardo stadium. At the end of the Apertura, the 'celestes' finished in second place in the standings, tied with Binacional, fighting for the title.
The 'rimenses' have also qualified for the round of 16 of the Copa Bicentenario. These matches will be played from August 9 to 11, in home and away matches against Sport Boys. The winner of this tournament will qualify for the 2020 Copa Sudamericana.
