The Peruvian National Team had a warm welcome since they arrived from Brazil after securing second place in the 2019 Copa America. Dozens of fans awaited the delegation at Jorge Chavez airport, and a caravan accompanied them on their route to Videna, where another large group welcomed them.
Amidst applause, words of gratitude, and even tears from the most sensitive individuals, the bus of the Peruvian National Team arrived at the headquarters of the Peruvian Football Federation with the players who were part of the successful campaign of the 'Blanquirroja'.
Some fans were able to have contact with the players: they took several photos and got autographs to remember. Even the police officers who were present didn't want to miss the opportunity and also caught the fever for the Peruvian National Team.
It is worth mentioning that the delegation arrived without Paolo Guerrero and Miguel Trauco, who will rejoin their teams' activities. Alexander Callens also did not arrive as he will be traveling to the United States. Renato Tapia stayed behind on the way to Videna.
