Colombia defeats Peru 2-0 in a football match

With goals from Teófilo Gutierrez, at 36 minutes, with a header, and Edwin Cardona at 94 minutes, Colombia defeated the Peruvian national team in a match played at the Metropolitano Stadium in Barranquilla with a temperature above 35 degrees.

The team led by Ricardo Gareca dominated the entire second half where they had, at least, two clear opportunities to tie the score in the feet of Paolo Guerrero, who hit a shot on the left post of Ospina's goal, and Yordy Reyna, who failed to take advantage of a one-on-one after a great pass from the "Predator".

With this result, the national team suffers its first defeat awaiting to recover in the face of Chile in a new edition of the Pacific Classic, scheduled for Tuesday at 21:15 hrs.
