Chilean Fans Show Their Support for 'La Roja' in Copa America 2019 Semifinal

Amid chants and cheers, Chilean fans in Lima cheered on 'La Roja' as they competed in the semifinals of the Copa America 2019 against Peru, at the Arena do Gremio stadium in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Although at first the good spirits could be felt among the crowd, as the match progressed, everything turned into sadness and silence.

"We are sad, but we were very confident, I believe. The goalkeeper was really good and Peru played well," expressed a Chilean fan. On the other hand, another attendee dared to point out that the Peruvian national team was superior from the beginning against Chile.

Following the victory of the Peruvian squad, the team led by Ricardo Gareca will have to prepare for the final of the Copa America Brazil 2019, which will take place on Sunday, July 7th, against Brazil.
