The signing of the player attracts a large number of Peruvians to support the Seattle Sounders. After scoring the goal, Ruidíaz ran to the stands to find a Peruvian flag and celebrate with a couple of fans who were there.
The Sounders Rave Green climbed to 10th place in the Western Conference and is 7 points away from the playoff zone in US football.
