The Peruvian national team led by Carlos Silvestri made their home advantage count at La Videna.

We have to get used to winning, whether they are friendlies or official tournaments. We always have to win and that's what the Peruvian U17 National Team did this Tuesday against their counterpart from Uruguay at La Videna.

The young team, led by Carlos Silvestri, faced a friendly match at La Videna against the 'Charrúas' and came out victorious after a 0-0 draw in the 90 minutes and being better in the penalty shootouts.

Gareca on his current situation: "At this moment I am a free coach."

In the end, the score ended 4-1 in penalties for the Peruvian team, which showed a lot of personality and was always closer to winning during regulation time.

This Thursday the second friendly will be played, where Carlos Silvestri could try out different variations despite needing another good result to maintain high spirits.

"If I renew, I will stay for the 4 years. There is no way that, on my part, I decide to leave."

The Peruvian U17 National Team is preparing for the 2019 World Cup to be held in our country. We will be the hosts and we have to be protagonists on the field.
