The Segunda División of Peruvian football continues in force, currently playing matchday number 12 in which the great winner has been the César Vallejo team that managed to add three points that have distanced them from second place by four points, meanwhile Cienciano and Hualgayoc lost their way by tying and losing respectively. On Friday, the match between Cienciano and Carlos Mannucci started, at the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega Stadium these two teams did nothing to each other, ending the match goalless with a 0-0 draw that made both teams share the points.

As usual, the matches continued on Sunday with a Juan Aurich that once again became the 'Ciclón', which swept Deportivo Hualgayoc, who lost with a resounding 4-0. The goals for the Chiclayan side were scored by Josué Estrada, Anderson Cueto (2) and Alfredo Carrillo.

In one of the closest and most important matches of the fixture, Universidad César Vallejo faced Alianza Atlético de Sullana at home, determined to not leave any points on the field, it is thanks to goals from Carlos Orejuela and Rolando Díaz that they managed to impose themselves on the 'Churres' with a 2-1 victory, with Jair Córdova scoring the consolation goal.

In an exciting match, Unión Huaral made home advantage count by defeating Alfredo Salinos 3-2, who almost managed to secure a draw, with Miguel Curial scoring a hat-trick for the 'Pelícano' team, while the visitors reduced the deficit through Alonso Pinedo and Carlos Aspilcueta.

In another match that was quickly decided, Sport Victoria beat Sport Loreto 2-1, this time the Ica team prevailed thanks to goals by Jorge López and Gerson Panduro, while Diego Amesquita scored for the visitors.

In the last game of the day, Cultura Santa Rosa drew 1-1 against Deportivo Coopsol, this match took place at the Monumental de Condebamba Stadium in Abancay, with goals scored by Ariel Conrad for the home side, while Erick Gonzales Aponte scored for the visitors.
