After 36 years, Peru returns to participate in a World Cup. And as joy possessed each and every one of the Peruvians, one of their artistic icons, the Tigress of the East, composed a song to encourage their national team.
The song, called "The Queen of the World Cup", is a praise to the coach Ricardo "the Tiger" Gareca. "To you Tiger Gareca, your Tigress thanks you, for taking us to the World Cup after so many years," says the hit of the 72-year-old singer.
The music video includes the rest of the elements that are her identifying mark: chromas, tigers, people dancing in minimal clothing and fireworks. Enjoy!
