The commitment of Alberto Rodríguez with the Peruvian National Team is not in question.

He is one of the players who strengthens when defending the national team. However, he was unable to replicate this performance with the Junior team. Therefore, coach Julio Comesaña has once again expressed his disappointment and revealed that 'Mudo' returned to Lima "without the club's permission".

"I am not the authorized person to give Rodriguez the possibility of going to his national team. I told him - before the trip - that I would not use him in three matches. But upon our return, he should already be traveling to join his national team. I asked him what he was going to do. But, since he doesn't speak much, I asked him if he would like to go to his country," explained the coach of Junior.

The atmosphere in Junior is not entirely good. The club was eliminated from the Copa Libertadores, despite the great economic effort they made to be a protagonist of the competition.

"So I told him: go to the club and talk to the manager, so that he can talk to the president. If the board authorized him, they would consult me. But none of that happened. He didn't go to management. He just sent a WhatsApp saying that I had authorized the trip," added Comesaña.

On the other hand, the coach of Junior stated that the board will define in the next few hours the future of Alberto Rodriguez, who is already training at Videna with the Peruvian National Team.
