José Gamarra, president of the Creditors Board of Universitario de Deportes, stated in an interview with RPP Noticias that there is a serious predisposition on the part of SUNAT to harm the institution of Ate. According to the director of Gremco, the organization attached to the Ministry of Economy and Finance has recently sent a document that demonstrates its intention to harm the "crema" club.
"It seems that SUNAT has sent a hidden email and we will ask the Public Prosecutor's Office to investigate this issue because it is harming the 'U'. There is a predisposition on the part of SUNAT to harm the club, there is a mafia of officials working there who are dedicated to devouring companies through the bankruptcy system and it seems that is what they are trying to do with Universitario," said Gamarra.
On the other hand, having declared at the exit of the Creditors Board, Gamarra revealed the issues discussed in the meeting and confirmed the appointment of Alberto Elejalde as the new general manager of the merengue institution.
"There have been several points that have been discussed. The first one was one related to the modification of the Restructuring Plan that SUNAT put forward, alleging a resolution from Indecopi that according to them said it should be modified. However, that's not what the resolution says. As long as that is questioned, the issue cannot be addressed. Later, the appointment of Alberto Elejalde as general manager was discussed," he said.
